South Korean casino operator Paradise Co. said its casino sales in July were about 74.15 billion won, up 3.2 percent from a year earlier and 19.1 percent from a year earlier.
The company, which operates its gaming venues exclusively for foreigners, said in a filing to the stock exchange on Monday that game table sales in July were nearly 70.51 billion won, up 3.7 percent from the previous month and 21.0 percent from the same month a year earlier.

The company said its gaming console sales fell 6.0% from the previous month to 3.64 billion won in July and were down 8.9% year-on-year.
The company's monthly update does not provide a comment on the reasons for the earnings change.
Paradise said casino sales rose 19.1% year-on-year to nearly W425.63 billion in the first seven months of 2019. Game table sales rose 20.1% to W399.39 billion during the period, while slot machine sales rose 5.4% to W26.23 billion.
Paradise recorded a net profit of 3.1 billion won on sales of 179.51 billion won in the first quarter of last year, and recorded a net loss of 7.53 billion won on sales of 2010.72 billion won.
Paradise's figures are based on games played at four facilities: Walkerhill, Seoul; Jeju Grand on Jeju Island; Busan Casino in the southern port city of Busan; and Paradise City in Incheon, which is close to the main international airport serving the capital city of Seoul. The latter game venue was promoted in partnership with Japanese entertainment giant Sega Sammy Holdings, Inc.
